I joined PRSSA first as a social media chair in 2020 and then eventually worked my way up to Vice President. Not only did I have a blast in the organization, but it taught me some really amazing leadership and organizational skills. These skills cannot be taught in a classroom or within coursework. I believe that the best way to learn how to do something is to just do it. PRSSA gave me the space to learn in that way.
